Chris Bannor

Chris Bannor is an extraordinary short fiction writer published in many anthologies. She started her writing career writing flash fiction for anthologies and is a concise writer of speculative fiction generally with LGBTQ+ characters. Of late, she's been spending a great deal of time on her serialized fiction on Vella. Her stories Love and 531 are favorites of No Bad Books Press.

Chris writes speculative fiction because she adores fantasy and science fiction. She is truly terrified by a good horror story and feels life is all about the 'why's and 'what if's. It just so happens that when faced with a dilemma, her brain says... what if this happened... in space!! Wouldn't her co-worker's behavior make so much more sense if... they are actually an ancient wizard? She wonders why hasn't the zombie apocalypse happened yet? She wonders when are those aliens finally coming to abduct her?

Her story Unleashed, about a criminal's soul held in the mind of a guard, was featured in NBBP's anthology Released. Chris will also have a story in our upcoming anthology The Mirror.
