Odd Marketing Ideas

The other day I was invited to a book club that’s hosting one of my books, and as it’s Halloween time I was invited to come in costume. Immediately, I took to Facebook to ask for ideas. You can see that here.

But I had an author message me to ask if I would be interested in cosplaying one of his characters from a book about a tarot walker. We went back and forth several times, chatting about his books and his characters. Finally, I bought a copy of the book—a fun steampunk story! I’m looking forward to this one, but what’s the weirdest way you’ve ever sold a book?
